 About the Book

The author was born on March 14, 1964, in a small rural town in West Virginia. It is here that she met and married her husband Kenny and later gave birth to four wonderful children, three of whom are introduced in this book. The first-born died at the age of four due to very serious heart defects. The reason for writing this book came from memories and notes of the daily life that the author lived over the seven and a half years that her son was drugged. The book she wrote deals with how she discovered the truth about the educational system, in the area where the author lives, to save the life of her son. The book touches upon how easy it is to become part of an experiment in a time when we think that Medieval practices have been done away with, and how very easy it is to fall into the trap of self worthlessness and confusion. Within the pages of the book, the author has shown how she trusted the educators and medical community to help her do what was best for her child, and unknowingly she was destroying him by the use of psychiatric drugs.
